V&A Dundee

07.01.19

Following the opening of the V&A Dundee there were 325,000 visitors in 2018, with 210,000 visitors to the Scottish Design Galleries.

Duncan MacMillan, Scotsman wrote “The story of Scottish Design is far too diverse to follow a simple narrative and the display is limited to a manageable 300 objects. Grouped thematically, it manages to be remarkably comprehensive nonetheless. Certainly, the received wisdom meekly accepted for too long – that Scottish design is clunky and provincial – must now be banished forever.”

Published to coincide with the opening ‘The Story of Scottish Design’ 'explores Scotland’s highly original and pioneering designers' who have 'showcased Scotland’s significance on the international stage.'

We are delighted to have our projects featured in both the exhibition and publication.
