Information Thumbnails

In our proposals for 24 houses on an awkward site at Burnside, Plockton, we explored a new typology for rural housing. The use of two different housing forms, the terrace and the barn, creates a form reminiscent of historical rural patterns. A mix of materials - stone, harl, timber, slate and corrugated sheeting - further explore the variety of form and commonly found in a Highland setting.
